From the Preface: "This group of lectures is intended for technicians already doing radio work. It is true that t are men in radio servicing who need no further help. T are other radio servicemen who sorely need assistance, but who have always refused to use to their own advantage the experiences of others. We hope that you are still a different type - a man doing radio work in a satisfactory manner, but who never-the-less does realize his own limitations and believes that additional knowledge will help to speed up repairs and make this work a better paying occupation.
