This auction is for an 1880's trade card for Silver Star Baking Powder showing black kids playing baseball. This card shows 3 boys, one of them running the bases. The caption reads: FOUL Ball . The back of the card shows Majolica dishes and plates available w/ the purchase of Silver Star Baking Powder. It measures 4 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches. It has been removed from an 1880's period scrapbook and is in good condition with 3 small scrapes and a name in pencil on the back. A nice addition to any collection of baseball and Black Americana related trade cards.Winning bidder pays $1.00 for first class mail.
