Offered in this auction is an Aermacchi motorcycle pin. Harley-Davidson bought 50% of the Aermacchi company in the late 1950s, changing the brand name in Aermacchi Harley-Davidson and introducing model names like the Wisconsin , Sprint instead of names like Chimera , Ala Verde , Ala Bianca , and of course the Ala d’Oro production racer. In the beginning of the 1970s AMF Harley-Davidson took over the rest of the company, concentrating on two strokes like the X90 and the Z90 etc. This pin is gorgeously detailed and of high quality.
