While researching Traditional African Music, i acquired a few of these formidable spears from the Masai Tribesmen from 1990 to 2005. The spear is 66" in length, the blade is 37 3/4 ", wooden handle is 91/4", lower shaft is 18 3/4". The weight is 4lbs. The wooden handle is made from African Mahogany). This is a classic Maasai Moran spear with it's thinner blade! Decades old! Feel free to ask questions. Good Hunting!
