Welcome to Agates Galore! I've been collecting Laguna Agates since the early '60's when I lived in Tucson , Arizona and became interested in rockhounding. Over the past 50 years I've collected Lagunas, Percelas, Motezumas, Botswanas , Montana Agates, and many, many more beautiful cabs, slabs and halves. I've been a lapidary throughout the years and also a silversmith, so many of my most prized stones have been made into beautiful jewelry. Now it's time for me to share some of these beautiful Agates with others who will enjoy them as I have. If you have any questions, please email me. I use a ruler to show size in inches in the photos and add the weight and thickness in metric for the description. If you want me to combine shipping, let me know. Laguna Agate / Calandria slabs pictured close-up, dry, wet, front, and back. These slabs have extremely tight banding and will polish into fabulous display specimens. They are mirror images of each other and would make a beautiful butterfly. The outer shells are pinkish beige and banding on both slabs include blue, yellow, white gray and some pinkish color in the middle. Very unusual specimens that you won't find very often. Total Weight: 116 grams Thickness: 6 mm
