This is an AHM, Associated Hobbies Manufacturers, Inc. A Subdivision of General Hobbies Corp. train set circa 1981. The date comes from the last page of the booklet which has a warranty page and at the bottom of that page there is the date of 1981. The original box is not with this set. The booklet and paper for the locomotive have been folded. There is a box of track and within that box are two wires. I was going to test the locomotive to make sure it runs, but I had no idea what to do with the two wires. There is a spare coupler in the locomotive box. I did not remove any of the other cars from their packages. However, I can not state that they've never have been out of the packages, or that they have been played with or that the set works. Having said that, I can state that the pieces do appear to be in good condition. There is a tear on the track box which I suspect is from tape? I am shipping this in a Medium Flat Rate Box. Buyer pays for shipping. I do notcharge a handling fee, but I do recycle packing material when possible. Postage, as you know, is subject to error. If I discover that I’ve charged you too much for postage, I will refund the difference. I do expect payment within 48 hours. Be sure and check my return policy and feel free to ask questions.
