This helmet is in very good condition. Inside the helmet, it is marked as a size large. It was rebuilt after its last use in 2001 and not used since. While in service, it was flown by the Squadron Commander of an A-10 squadron out of Kuwait, into Iraq in 2000. Combat designated missions (day andnight) were flown into Iraqi airspace carrying live munitions in support of orders enforcing no-fly restrictions in place at that time. The proud life support section of the unit had customized the helmet with exterior paint and interior ear piece and head cushion upgrades. It is marked with the fighter pilot's nickname, "Dano", and the helmet storage peg number, "18", with removable decals. The helmet has an adaptation installed to accommodate night vision goggles ( the small velcro patch on the left side and the metal bracket near it ). The mask has an unused flow valve and completely undamaged wiring to Air Force standard. It comes with a tinted visor and a clear visor which are easily exchanged on the helmet. There is a leather cover for the installed visor and a cotton lightweight bag for storage of the unused visor. Buyer should use caution and have the helmet certified by the FAA before putting it into operational use again.I will ship via FedEx to the buyer promptly. Question s: Call me at .
