AIRFIX 1/48 GRUMMAN EA6B PROWLER FIRST BOXING KIT No, 908176 USED BUT EXCELLENT I am selling by auction from my dwindling collection the classic Airfix/MPC 1/48 scale tooling of the Grumman EA6-B Prowler in its original 1982 Palitoy-style boxing with a built-up kit on the front, kit no.9 08176. It is a relatively straightforward build with parts in white plastic, and there are two decal options included. I bought this model used from a dealer at about 12 years ago. The box is in reasonable condition with some shelf-wear. The parts have been removed from their plastic bags (if there were any to start with?) and a few have come loose from their runners. All parts are present. The decals look fine but I can't guarantee their usefulness after all this time and the kit is being sold on this understanding. Plenty of after-market decal sheets are available, however. Opening price for this rare and interesting kit is £9.99 and UK second class postage is £5.50. (The box is large enough to be 'medium parcel', unfortunately.) A successful local bidder can, of course, collect in person, pay cash and avoid the high postal charges.
