Airfix HO-00 Scale Waterloo Highland Infantry – 1970s figures in original box, unused – still on sprues. This is a great example of a box of Airfix H0-00 scale Waterloo Highland Infantry, No. S35, that dates from the mid-late 1970s. The 5¾” x 4½” x 1” box is in very good clean condition just one small tear on and end-panel (no missing paper), but no scribbles or grazes. It has all its flaps and does not even suffer from any crushing or bowing. The back has just one small mark on it. The front has a 20p Woolworths price sticker. The box states the contents to be 44 Pieces. Inside, I can only count 39 pieces. Seven individual figures are loose (with three having tiny dashes of paint on them), and all others are still on their sprues, and in perfect condition. It is impossible to be an expert in all realms of collecting, and I am honestly representing this item to the best of my knowledge and ability. If the item has a fault then I have mentioned it. I ask that you read the description and examine the photos carefully. I also encourage you to ask any questions you may have during the auction to help clarify identification or condition, as I may inadvertently omit information that you as a collector feel is important. Although I have ticked the Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard option, please note that some items do go first class and also, although I have also stated that items will go out within two working days, many items go out within 24 hours of being paid for. Many people in the UK receive their items within 36-48 hours of payment being received. PACKAGING . Please note that all of my items are well-packed in thick card or in boxes, and then wrapped in good quality brown paper. I do not make any separate charge for packaging materials. Many of my feedback comments mention my good packaging and I will of course continue to meet my own standards. USA BIDDERS PLEASE READ THIS Since November last year eBay have periodically put up announcements about potential delays with items being mailed to the USA. So has the Royal Mail. The Royal Mail website currently has a notice that reads USA Start date: 18th November 2010 End date: Ongoing Update 7th March 2011: (This was the last time the Royal Mail updated their website.) Further to the recent increased security measures for items carried on passenger airlines to the USA, Royal Mail has continued to work with relevant airlines and deploy a range of contingency measures and routes to get as much mail to the States as quickly as possible. We are pleased to confirm that the vast majority of items have now reverted back to being flown to the USA, with only a small amount of mail having to be diverted to alternative routes, including sea containers. This - potentially - is a bit of a nightmare.
