Happy Hoildays from Oldradiodaze!"Offered in this auction today is this beautiful All tube table Deco Airline radio. Pre-War . This is another Gorgeous set with a lighted Stunning Deco dial and original dial cover and Factory rear cover. Exhibiting gorgeous mirror finished Factory painted Cabinet original mfg. c-1941 .This is a Deco radio that exhibits no real issues noted in or on the cabinet other than a few pin marks in the surface and over the years a few flea bite touch ups hardly noticed.The dial cover has very slight fading in spots,common on this style and age of the plastic,but very clean and readable .. There are very small scratch marks on the bottom,splitting hairs here,otherwise very clean for this 75+ year vintage! This model is one of the coolest looking radios they produced in the early 40s . This one is All original and working strong as it did right from the factory in 1941 ,for the avid radio enthusiast and collector in stunning condition!Yes all of the push-buttons work freely and no binding or sticking,you will need re-set them for stations in your area if desired and if you have the ability. All of the stations can be dialed in manually by using the tuning knob on the right side of the cabinet!This plays with clean BIG sounding audio from such a compact design.This model most times have rear covers that have issues,we repaired each tear to each corner and the original cardboard cover now fits solid in place! There is no further explanation here, this radio is gorgeous and plays as good as it looks! A 5 tube design that can play every day if desired!!
