This is a gorgeous and incredible specimen, a vortex stone that is from Airport Mesa Vortex in Sedona, Arizona! It is a very beautiful piece, unusual to find in Sedona, and full of distinct and wonderful energy! It has SOUTHWESTERN COLORS, like a Sedona or Arizona sunset. T are yellow, white, red, tan, rose, gray and variations in colors, and the "veins" that run though it look like agate with a lacy & pretty effect! I cannot put into the words the beauty and wonder of this incredible stone! It is very hard, as "churt" is, and I was told that this is what this beautiful specimen is. Churt was very rare in Sedona, and this piece has been very special to me for 10 years. It is gorgeous and a display piece that sits very nicely in several ways. It is also a phenomenal healing tool and an energy to be reckoned with, from Airport Mesa Vortex! Sedona is only one of the few places in the entire world with vortices (See Melody's "Love is in the Earth", page 75).As Melody states, "a vortex is the intersection of multiple ley lines, creating an intensely powerful area with respect to the concentration of natural energy forces. The area of the vortex tends to enhance all psychic abilities and to facilitate experiences which bring healing energies to unusal manifestations." T are only a few places in the entire world with vortices and Sedona, Arizona is one of them! Vortices are intense swirling and spiraling masses of energy underneath the earth's floor. The energy is very powerful and intensified and tends to "quicken" the healing process. Sedona attracts many people not only for its immense beauty, but because of the vortex energy that is available at the 4 major vortexes, or vortices. I lived t for over 2 years from mid 1997 and can greatly attest to the fact, the energy is very different!Sedona has since become much more developed and the restrictions are many. T are fees to enter the forests and places that I found some of the best rocks from the vortexes are long since unavailable. Sedona is also known as Red Rock Country. It's a spiritually aware community of healers and those seeking healing as well as many others that enjoy it t!. I lived t from 1997-1999, and enjoyed it so much without its many restrictions that are now enforced and all of the development that has occurred. I could not have access to w I found these stones which were off the beaten track. T is NO going off of the trails w I found this beautiful stone. Incredible energy and alot of beautiful color, form, fine details and energy packed into this unique vortex stone. The colors are so beautiful and meld together into other colors, just like a gorgeous sunset. It has beautiful energy as well as it is very smooth to touch and you tend to want to rub it like a worry stone! Many lines, colors, details abound! Incredible Contrast of white to red, light to dark!!!! Beautiful! This is a great find, being a rock lover since a kid. It is gorgeous, but with a loupe, you can especially see it even more, the finer details! T are many beautiful intricacies such as the white veins that run along it, flowing red/rose lines, a beautiful rippled effect on one end that reminds me of a seashell, etc! It is a stunner and can be displayed easily and rearranged to show its many colors and sides each day....this piece packs quite a power punch and it is very healing and great for use in meditation and scrying!!! It is also a wonderful muse as it opens up creativity and especially one inclined to have an "artist's block. check out the many colors in all of the pictures I took...it looks like a different stone at each angle and one layer you can see is filled with white stones/gray edges.....awesome!This piece would be excellent in crystal healing, for your pocket, palm, meditation, for a Collector, Geologist, Light Worker, or as a unique souvenir of Sedona, Arizona.
