Auction is for a used Akai X-1800SD reel top reel & 8 track cartridge player, included is the cover-door, manual, extra fuse, Akai 4 track demo tape, reel caps are not Akai, recently pulled from storage in condition seen, unit chassis has been carefully dusted and accessible pots cleaned, basic functions and record have been briefly checked for operation...upon 1st start-up, it didnt start on its own so I had to lightly assist/turn the main take-up reel to get both reels moving....once going all modes and channels are presently working in good sounding condition thru the built-in speakers, unit may need tlc like overdue maintenance &/or belt(s), tape counter may not presently work, VU meters & lights work, 8 track player was also briefly checked and is presently in working condition, cosmetically the face is pretty clean, no major gouges or scratches on wood case, footpads intact, some signs of use.
