Does not power on. Selling for parts and repair. I think the fuse may be bad which is a $3 part. Google Akai S20 Fuse and it comes right up regarding swapping the small fuse on the Remix88/S20 board. Comes with brand new power supply and rare Akai S20 floppy box set of vintage one shot drum samples such as the Roland TR-606, TR-808, TR-909, and some cool and rare drum machines such as the Mattel Synsonic, Siel, Hohner, and the classic E-MU Drumulator.Also comes with E-MU SP1200 mapping disk that the Remix 88's buttons are mapped to the pads of the SP1200 just by loading this disk. Just load your samples and you got the pair working together hand in hand. It's a fast way to get more sample time with your SP1200 and a lot more fun to use than an S950 or any other rack sampler. This Akai Remix 88 is basically a black S20 which looks awesome next to an SP1200/SP-12. This is a great way to increase your sampling time on your 10 second SP, quickly, and is more fun to use than Akai S950. Comes with a midi mapping disk that allows you hit your pads on your SP and is mapped to the Remix 88's pads. With this custom floppy disk the configuration has already been done for you.
