Gorgeous antique hand painted AKD (A. Klingenberg & Dwenger), Limoges, France tankard/pitcher/ewer/vase. Hallmarked on bottom as pictured. This mark dates this ewer to between 1890's - 1910. Ewer stands 12 1/2" tall, has a base diameter of 4 1/2", and measures 6" from tip of spout to back of handle. Same ewer (painted differently), is pictured in the Third Edition of the Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain by Mary Frank Gaston on page 223. Ewer has background shades from cream to pink with embossed floral details around bottom, hand painted flowers on body in an array of colors with foliage, white handle has hand painted gold floral details, and gold trim on rim. This is a gorgeous piece of hand painted antique Limoges porcelain! Ewer is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or breaks.
