How often do you see a book autographed by the legendary Alan Moore??!! He doesn't do conventions any more and has not attended any for years, as far as I know. How did I get this signed book, you might ask? Well, I am the promoter of a convention in Kansas City -- Planet Comicon. For one of my conventions we invited as guests most of the creators of America's Best Comics, including Chris Sprouse, Rick Veitch, Kevin Nowlan, Gene Ha, Zander Cannon and Mick Gray. Alan Moore declined his invitation to attend, but was kind enough to agree to sign some copies of his books. I shipped these to him in England and he returned them to me. The scans above show a representative example of this signed book. The book you receive will be signed in the same manner in approximately the same location. This is the Alex Ross cover version of this book. It is in brand new condition. The first scan is the cover and the second is a close-up of Alan Moore's autograph. He signed these in gold, metallic ink. I have autographed copies of the standard and the limited cover editions of the #1 issue of all almost all of the America's Best Comics original titles.
