Alaska Caribou Antler Silver Stag Damascus Folding Knife Classic - Old World Razor design - does not lock open We combine our own Alaska Caribou Antler with Damascus knife making by our good friends at Silver Stag Knives to bring you this exceptional one of a kind knife. Silver Stag's Damascus steel is manufactured by forge welding multiple layers of high carbon steels into a solid block called a billet, (Silver Stag contains 1095 & 15N20 high carbon tool steels). The billet is folded and re-welded several times to produce layers, (Silver Stag Damascus = 150 to 300 layers). The patterns is created by manipulating the steel during the forge welding process. This blade is then profiled out of the layered steel billet block, then hand ground, polished, and sharpened. The combination of layered hard and soft steels creates blade flexibility, toughness, and produces invisible serrations on the edge that aid cutting. We feel SILVER STAG Damascus blades are the best flesh cutting blades on the market. Direct from Silver Stag, this series would be manufactured with deer or elk antler but we've worked closely with them to bring you this Alaskan Caribou Antler handled knife. It includes and up-graded, handmade leather sheath that fits the knife perfectly. This is an Old World Razor design, it does not lock open , it's not a lock-back.
