I found this modern(ish) photographic album containing 226 (two hundred and twenty-six) topographical postcards of Italy when clearing out my late father's house. I'm no expert but as far as I can see all are pre WW II and I would say that well over half are pre First world war, indeed some cards have pre-1904 postmarks and undivided backs. They are in good/very good or fine condition (there are no tatty or dog-eared cards). Many have been postally used. Although many of the tourist spots feature in the collection there is a wide range of locations, many of which I have never heard of!. I shall be sad to part with it. The images with this listing are low resolution scans and please note that the spots surrounding the cards are the background to the pages and do not appear on the cards!.I will combine items for cheaper mailing. Because of the weight (2.2 kilos) this album will be mailed in the UK by eBay's preferred carrier Hermes.Please note if you are a buyer from outside the UK the mailing prices quoted are notional (the weight limit for many countries is two kilos but it could be that the cards could be mailed without the album to save weight). Please discuss with me before bidding!
