ALCO Model C-643DH/D111 - Southern Pacific 9018ALCO HAULIC - The nickname that some genius hung on this HO monster. There is a lot of engine wrapped up in this long hood. Youngest survivor of the SP's first generation of Diesel-hydraulics, these seem to be the most durable and most powerful, with it's 4000 HP. Alco models has literally covered this model with fine castings and coinings. Being an SP prototype, it also has all those knick-knacks that only SP indulges in. KMT-Kumata built brass 1/87th diesel locomotives.ALCO used KMT of Japan for production of most of its late '60s and 1970s offerings.Original box - shows some wear. All parts intact - runs poor to fair.Grab irons and railing intact.Hard To Find Model
