We are offering LOUIS' MIXED DRINKS, WITH HINTS ON THE CARE & SERVING OF WINES By Louis Muckensturm; H. M. Caldwell Co. Boston, MA. (1906.) This book is hard-bound in red cloth with gilt and black stamping to the upper cover. The covers show some light scuffing and soiling, as well as edge-wear and rubbing to the joints, corners and spine-ends. The binding is solid. His recipe includes dry gin, French vermouth, curaçao and orange bitters. Muckensturm suggests that an olive is an appropriate garnish for extra dry cocktails, but only if wiped clean of all brine.
