It was my good fortune to have gotten sober when Chuck was still alive in Los Angeles. His son was Richard Chamberlin the actor and if they had both shown up at a meeting together people would have tramppled Richard to get to Chuck. He was a little man with a silly laugh and I was young and dumb and didn't appreciate his spiritual message then. Today I live by the same principles he espoused. He never wrote a book, this gem was created from a series of lectures he gave one weekend and someone else put it into book form after he passed. At the time the book came out, it became an instant success in AA and the copy I am offering is in a remarkable state of preservation. It couldn't have been read more than once. The dust cover is not as vivid as new but the book IS like new and the pages are white and vivid with only the slightest hint of aging where the pages have been exposed to the air. Spine and interior is as it was the day it came off the presses. A fine addition to your AA library. Before you purchase another 1st Edition of this book, remember its value is increased by its dust cover. Be certain it is as nice as this one. Good luck with your bidding!
