Aldershot FC’s FIRST LEAGUE SEASON 1932/33 v Guildford City (SL) A 16-page issue for the Southern League fixture played at the Rec on October 1 st 1932 between Aldershot Reserves and Guildford’s First XI. Aldershot had started their Football League life at the end of August 1932 and initially the FL and SL programmes were the same 16-page formats. The team notes on the visitors reveal a Guildford team with considerable Football and Scottish League experience. The programme is ex-binder so the 3 internal pages are loose (no staples). There are stich marks and six small holes along the spine but no other damage. The internal pages are yellowed with some slight staining along the edges (see photo). There are no tears or creases and no writing. Nice clean cover. 1932/33 Aldershot programmes rarely come to the market, be they Football League, Southern League or Football Combination. This example has been in my collection for 20 years. This is the last lot from my collection of pre-war and war-time Aldershot homes and aways. Please note - I can only supply to a UK address.
