Alex Rodriguez 1994 A298 AUTO Hello. Up for auction is a rare 1994 UD Baseball A298 Rookie AUTO Card from Upper Deck.The card looks to be in perfect condition. I do not grade cards, but it looks MINT to me. It was pulled from a pack back in 1994 and immediately placed into a lucite screw-down card holder for protection. It has a serial number of AUD42128. Please see the pictures of the card to judge for yourself (I am not a professional photographer, so I apologize for the quality of the digital pictures. Any perceived imperfection is being caused by the card sleeve inside the screw-down.) The card looks to be in mint condition with pristine corners and well-centered. This card will grade high and should increase in value. Ungraded, it books for $500-$600 in Beckett's, and graded can range up to $1000. It is virtually guaranteed to increase further since we are only days away from Alex Rodriguez being named the 2007 AL MVP. He is also likely to hold every significant ML record by the time he retires, including Career Home Runs and Career RBIs, and will also likely exceed 3000 hits.
