This incredible collectible has likely NEVER been seen by any of you. It has been in my personal collection for about 10 years, and to the best of my knowledge it is ONE OF A KIND...the ONLY copy of these abandoned project that exists! In 1999, the Warner Brothers Studio Stores conceived the project seen here: THE ALEX ROSS SKETCHBOOK. It was intended to be so much more than that. It is presented in a luxurious portfolio case that measures 18.5 x 15. It has a name tag around the handle showing that it is owned by ALEX ROSS. The idea behind this project was to create a collectible that looked like an ACTUAL portfolio of ORIGINAL pencil drawings. There are two main collectible contents inside this portfolio case. The first is a "SKETCHBOOK" that is a tablet of paper measuring 12 x 18. It has a coarse board cover (like a fine sketchbook would normally have). Inside this sketchbooks are fine art giclee prints (SIX in total). Again, the idea was to make this collectible look like an ACTUAL sketchbook that Alex Ross would show art directors at DC Comics. The giclee prints have been produced on the heaviest paper (they are almost as thick as art boards). They are even still in the ring binding so I'm not sure how they produced such an intricate item!
