Inscribed by the author "To Professor Sidney Waxman -- with the warmest best wishes, Alfonso Ossorio, Xmas '85" Also includes copy of an email from the professor's wife, describing visits to Ossorio's garden and home. Black and white cloth illustrated boards. 269pp, 152 black and white and 54 hand-tipped color plates. Also tipped in is the handwritten mailing label. White illustrated dust jacket. Includes essays by B.H. Friedman on the artist's life and work. Designed by Ladislav Svatos. Very good condition overall.
