The matching clip-on earrings are not signed and measure just under 3" long. The butterfly is 4" by 3-1/2" without the chain and bead dangles. The stones are all present and are bright colors of green, blue, red and amber. From Judith Miller's "Costume Jewelry"..."Costume designer Alice Caviness began making jewelry just after World War II, and her company, based in Long, Island, New York, continued production following her death in 1983. Pieces range from parures and demi-parures to earrings and single pins, including carved cameos, fruits and animal figurals. All her pieces are characterized by the use of high-quality materials, notably crystal stones of unusual colors. Mostly marked 'Alice Caviness,' they are relatively scarce and increasingly sought-after by collectors." Shipping will be via First Class Mail at $2.30 with insurance optional but recommended.
