DESCRIPTION : This is a MAGNIFICENT sterling silver bracelet and black onyx bracelet that was made in Taxco, Mexico, after 1978, by silversmith maestro, ALICIA. This gorgeous bracelet is crafted in a classical art deco style design. It consists of twelve, very thick and very dimensional silver links with deeply incised designs ~ the links are shaped like an arrow and the fronts are inlaid with thick diamond shaped cabochons of rich jet black onyx ~ the contrast between the brilliantly gleaming sterling silver and jet black onyx is awesome! The links are connected on the backs with silver soldered "O" rings. The clasp is a tongue and box closure that works perfectly and closes with a crisp 'click'. Even though this is a fairly hefty piece, weighing in at 59 grams, it is really comfortable to wear. Due to the articulated design, the links move with you when you have it on ~ it almost becomes a part of your body (I've tried to demonstrate this in the last two photos ~ any turquoise reflection that you see is from my clothing which I thought I had totally covered since whatever you have on reflects in the silver!) This is an extremely well crafted vintage bracelet ~ it is timelessly classic and would be a grand addition to your vintage Taxco silver collection! SIZE: Inside circumference is 6-3/4" , width is 1/2", and weight is 59 grams.
