Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, attributed to the Jesse P. Bodie Pottery, Kirksey's Crossroads, Edgefield District, SC, circa 1870, ovoid jar with flared collar, the surface covered in a yellowish-green alkaline glaze. Provenance: A South Carolina private collection. Excellent condition with a minor base chip. H 10 3/8".
