This gun was the developmental culmination of the Machine Karabiner (Automatic Rifle) 42 or MkB-42 for short. and the MP-43. The MP-44 is generally considered the first Assault Rifle, and was designed by the legendary German weapons designer Hugo Schmiesser. This REPLICA gun is all metal and hardwood (Buttstock and Pistol Grip Panels) with a removable dummy magazine. These REPLICA guns can be weathered to match the battlefield pickups late in the War. These are Beautiful replicas, and make a perfect addition to your WWII Collection, or WWII German Re-enacting gear. Only a limited number of these will be offered at this price.
