This is an Audio Taper "A" Log, Mil-Spec "Type J" 2 watt, hot-molded carbon, stainless steel, hermetically sealed, anti-fungal treated potentiometer manufactured in the USA by Allen Bradley. Allen Bradley potentiometers are considered the finest in the world and standard equipment in military gear (Including the Collins R-390A Communications Receiver). Saul B. Marantz himself specified Allen Bradley potentiometers in his legendary Audio Consolette Model 1 tube preamp (see picture below).AB Pots are extremely long lived and and resist noise and distortion.
