This allosaurus was collected in Wyoming this summer and as the lab has been preparing the skeleton to take to the Tucson Rock and Gem Show they have set aside the host rock (sandstone matrix) surrounding the bones to offer as trace fossils for interested collectors. This foot claw was imbedded on its side in the sandstone. You can see the replica of the shape and there is a distinct line following and arc in the center of the claw where the nerve and vein were located. This is an authentic trace fossil, an impression of a dinosaur claw that is 150 to 155 million years old. You will be the first owner of this fossil impression. Claw not included in offering.
