This coffee/tea set is Alpacca silver. All the pieces are marked on the bottom with a G.E. and under that is some sort of emblem with Alpacca under that. The tray has the same markings but on top on either end. I cleaned most of the heavy black tarnish off but as you can see from the pictures t is a gold coloring discoloration. With proper cleaning I believe the this will come off. I do not know how old this is. T are no dents. Happy to answer any questions you might have.
