These flowers are from the original, first edition printing. The series was considered Masaharu's greatest accomplishment. The beautiful natural flowers from the Japanese Alps were illustrated in fine, full oban woodblock prints. Note the beautiful color and fine detail of these lovely, early 20th century floral subjects. Each flower is individually titled and sealed by the artist in Japanese characters in the lower margin.
