Adorable earthenware Alsatian Kougelhopf, or kougelhof mold, from Alsace, France. c. 1950's. Base glaze color is deep blue. Hand painted decoration consists of flowers with creamy white petals and deep warm rust-red colored centers with sage green stems and leaves. Scallops painted on the edge and the ridges are the same creamy white color. There is a small hole where you can thread a piece of cord for hanging this on the wall. Lovely condition. 3.5 inches tall, about 6 3/8 inches in diameter at the bottom. I am a super careful packer. Shipping includes delivery confirmation and insurance. I ship USPS. Shipping fee shown in the auction applies only to continental 48 states. I will be happy to provide costs for shipping to Hawaii and Alaska per your request. I will happily ship overseas, but I will have to find out the cost and method for shipping overseas, so please let me know beforehand so I can research it and let you know.
