Alsace French pottery mold Kougelhopf Kugelhopf

Adorable earthenware Alsatian Kougelhopf, or kougelhof mold, from Alsace, France. c. 1950's. Base glaze color is deep blue. Hand painted decoration consists of flowers with creamy white petals and deep warm rust-red colored centers with sage green stems and leaves. Scallops painted on the edge and the ridges are the same creamy white color. There is a small hole where you can thread a piece of cord for hanging this on the wall.
Lovely condition.
3.5 inches tall, about 6 3/8 inches in diameter at the bottom.
