Welcome to Blue Mountain Music I have up for auction a pair of working Altec compressor limiters.I say working because we plug them both in, hooked up a microphone, and amplifier, and ran them through the different settings. The meter showed the compressor was limiting the signal when we spoke into the mic. Yes it is a very limited test but my opinion is that they are both doing what they were made to do. You are getting these in working condition but I'm selling them "AS IS"! I don't see any electrical issues the only thing is wear and tear from usage and age. These came out of the Hershey Museum and were they till they up graded the system a number of years ago.You will also get with the purchase with each unit one 1588A Transistor Preamp with Transformer isolated input module.
