This carte de visite is of Prince Albert, Consort to Queen Victoria. (1819-1861) See Biography: /wiki/Albert,_Prince_Consort Backmark: “Ralston & Sons, Photographers, 108 Renfield St., Glascow”. Remnants of a stamp cover a portion of the backmark. Easily removable. “Prince Consort” written in ink on reverse and “Prince Albert” written lightly in pencil. CDV in very good condition. I am listing CDVs from the extensive collection of well known concert baritone singer, Melfort Campbell D’Alton of Dublin Ireland (1867-1942). He collected these CDVs over the period of 1879-1930. The third photo in this listing is the title page of his collection (not included in this sale). He sang for Queen Elizabeth in 1900. Buyer pays shipping.
