Alton Pashano "Crow Mother" Cottonwood Root HOPI Kachina Doll - Hand Crafted. Condition is New. This cotton wood root hand carved kachina doll is by Alton pashano. Famous in Arizona Alton Pashano is a Hopi kachina carver. His incredible works often incorporate bright colors. Alton is a master carver from Hopi 2nd Mesa. He is a member of the corn clan. He has been carving Hopi kachina dolls for over 25 years. He carried on the proud tradition of Hopi katsina carvers. What makes this piece unique and shows age is the style and where the dolls arms are placed. They are in and are often referred to as belly warmer kachinas. Which means the arms are still closer to the body which this style was often made pre 1950. This beautiful kachina doll is in absolute fantastic condition. The only flaw is the feather/ear is slight damaged and loose. It is handled and will be shipped with the upmost care. Signed on the bottom by the artist himself. Free and fast shipping is included.
