You are bidding on a U.S. Navy Aluminized Fire Crash Rescue Hood. These along with the outfit made from the same material are what firefighters aboard aircraft carriers use to put out fuel fires from crashed aircraft or rescue pilots from burning wrecks!! It is in unissued condition. It is in the plastic with all the tags and 2 extra gold electroplated face shield covers. This helmet was issued as an experimental piece from the Clothing & Research Facility in Natick Mass.
