Aluminum Eastman Brownie 2A with Original Box Historic Eastman Kodak Brownie 2A with the original box. The camera looks to be in great shape for its age. The most recent patent date inside is 1925. From the Kodak website it seems that the 2A Model C was manufactured between 1924 and 1933, costing $3.75 new. The Kodak website indicates that the Model C was aluminum, unusual for a Brownie as most of the box Brownies were cardboard. The aluminum is pebbled and black to look like leather. It took 116 film, which is embossed on the outside. Inside it has "No. 2A Brownie Model C". The original box is in rough shape, with the top missing and old tape holding it together.
