Gorgeous antique French 19th century majolica candelabrum and wall pocket planter. This came from the lavish lobby of the old Princess Anne Hotel in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The hotel was built in 1890 and burned down in 1907. It was purchased on a shopping trip through Europe to furnish the grand hotel. The wall pocket came from the estate of the family that owned the Princess Anne. 2 arms with the tulip centers hold the candles. Please look at all pictures, they are a part of this description. Wall pocket / candelabrum measures approximately 12 1/2" in width, approximately 12" in height and approximately 4" in depth. No nicks, chips, or cracks. No scratches or repairs. There are a few small paint flakes that have been re-colored so they are not noticeable at all. I ran out of picture room but will be happy to email you any other picture you may want. This is truly unique and lovely. As of 6-1-15 the Post Office raised their rates. The wall pocket will require what the post office deems an oversized box in order to pack it safely. This adds to the cost of postage.
