From my personal vintage jewelry collection: This is a beautiful Joseph Mazer/Jomaz rhinestone bracelet. It is marked "Joseph Mazer" on the back of the clasp, indicating that it is an earlier piece. Not surprising, since I have had alot of pieces by this designer, and this style is extremely different from anything I have seen to this point. Some history on the design house: "Founded in 1927 in New York, the company went out of business in the late 1970s. Mazer jewelry is very high quality. Andre Fleuridas designed much early 1950s jewelry and in the 1970s, Adolfo even designed some pieces for the company. Early jewelry is marked "Mazer Bros" or "Joseph Mazer". Later pieces are marked MAZER or JOMAZ", so this is an early mark, dating during the earlier time frame. Mazer Brothers were known for their well-crafted jewelry and use of high end rhinestones. This bracelet is a beautiful example of Mazer craftmanship. It is elegant, yet modern for its time and looks wonderful on. This wonderful bracelet has beautiful Art Deco styling, and each link is scalloped around the lacy edges, and is set with rose-colored/sort of fuchsia baguettes in the center of each link. The remainder of the rhinestones are tiny, sparkling-clear pave'-set rounds, all set in shiny silvertoned rhodium plate, typical for the designer. All stones are faceted, present, read more
