This auction is for 4 complete (some high grade) copies of Amazing Spider-Man: #257 (The Puma by DeFalco & Frenz), #259 (Hobgoblin appearance, origin of Mary Jane, Old costume is back, by DeFalco & Frenz), #267 (by David & McCleod), & #289 (Hobgoblin id revealed, death of Ned Leeds, & New Hobgoblin introduced by David & Kupperburg), published by Marvel in Oct., & Dec., 1984, Aug. 1985 & June of 1987. The OWL (Overstreet Whiteness Level scale 0-10) is 9.5 to 9.9 (white pages). Comics are complete. For condition description see "condition" right under the auction title. There are no tape repairs, no chunks missing, & no brittleness. Current book value on this comic lot is $ 29.00 . Please look over my scans carefully. I have invested some time into making decent scans you may even be able to magnify with your browser for a better look. As a buyer, I do not like when a seller only posts one scan & expect buyers to be able to ascertain what grade a comic is. Why would sellers not post at least 2 scans (front & back covers of each comic) when pictures are free in this category? The usually white back cover margins tell you alot about the grade of the comic because soiling is easy to detect on them. I will ship this comic lot free only to addresses in the USA .
