AMAZING SPIDER-MAN # 53 DOCTOR OCTOPUS STAN LEE JOHN ROMITA SILVER AGE MARVEL COMIC BOOK This item is from what will go on to be a very big run of Spider-Man issues that, over time, will cover the Amazing Spider-Man , Peter Parker the Spectacular Spider-Man , Web of Spider-Man , Spider-Man , Marvel Team-Up , Giant-Size Spider-Man, numerous annuals, lots of specials/one-shots etc. To start with there will be a number of Silver Age Amazing Spider-Man issues - key issues will include 1st appearances of the Scorpion , the Rhino & the Kingpin plus some early Green Goblin ones - all starting as 99p no-reserve bargains . Most are 'reading' copies though there are a few nice copies amongst them - for the average collector to fill in gaps on a budget. The run of Bronze Age Spider-Man will be strong with lots of significant issues - Spectacular Spider-Man # 1 , Web of Spider-Man # 1 , the 1st Clone Saga , 1st appearance of the Black Cat /Black Costume , early MacFarlane etc in the weeks ahead.
