Up for sale today is yet again one of Marvel's famous Omnibus collections. If you're unaware Marvel Comics produces a series of hardcovers entitled Omnibus' which feature some of the most beautiful hardcover books you'll ever see. They have amazing binding, colored thick pages and usual feature tons of stories unlike DC Comics versions which usual only feature a story arc or two these suckers usually have tons of issues and arcs all rolled into one amazing book. Also Marvel only publishes these for a short period of time and then much like Disney they put them back into their vault and take them out of print. As soon as they do this the price sky rockets and these become impossible to find. Older ones have sold for nearly $400 alone. This auction is one the Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus featuring David Michelinie and Todd McFarlanes greatest issues of their run and clocking in at over 800 Pages, and YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT!!! Also retailing for over $100 and typically selling in specialty stores for nearly $125. This book even sells in auctions and discount book chains for nearly a $100. This book is like new and purchased the day it came out from my comic specialty store.
