Amazing Spider-Man Vol 1 No 45 FEB 1967 "Spidey Smashes Out" You are bidding on a USED Amazing Spider-Man No. 45 FEB 1967 Issue, "Spidey Smashes Out".A very clean comic. Front cover has minimal use. No major cracking of ink on main cover, just some slight areas on spine. Staples are free of rust and are stitched tight. Corners are very sharp. Lower left corner has a slight tear and is abraded and missing some paper when the cover is open...very minor.Cleaning out my closets. I am the original owner of this comic and this is from my collection of Marvel comics. I'm trying to decide whether or not to sell my entire collection, so I am selling my duplicates first and a few choice issues. All of these were stored in LA and I brought them back just last year when I was cleaning out my father's house. These were stored originally in poly sleeves until the 1980s, then I got better grade sleeves with backings (archival pH balanced stiffeners) in 1997...and that's how all my comics are now stored. I am going through the collection now and selecting the duplicates to unload first, holding on to the ones that I still are attached to. When I found thiem in LA, they were boxed and stored in a light-tight closet. Non-smoking and no pets in LA.
