Nice Safety Fruit Jar with correct lid and orginal wire bail, bail is somewhat rusted but all t and firm, Safety is boldly embossed on the jar. Fresh from an estate auction. Few flakes and chips around edge of group lip, likely done in grinding, lid hides them all. 76 is mold number on base. Some dirt and possible light stain on the very bottom of the jar, but we have not washed or cleaned it in any way and I can tell that some or perhaps all will come right out. We used to collect fruit jars and know that this is right lid with Patent Applied For and correct bail. Nice jar. Not too easy to find a decent fruit jar anymore at an estate auction. Postage will be $10.00 by Priority Mail, insurance optional and extra. Missouri residents add sales tax. Personal check or money order or paypal.
