This Union corporal is ID'd as ( Charles J. Stouffer, a Civil War veteran of 1862.) The image is in full case, with a hole cut in the center of the back side. This is w the paper with his name on it was put. It's a very nice image, with some scratches present. But not too bad. Mr. Stouffer is seated, showing him wearing a forage cap, short jacket with 9 plus buttons and his Corporal stripes. T is also a leather Union issue belt, with brass oval U.S. buckle. No weapons are visable. A nice image for your Cival War collection.
