A ONE OF A KIND AMERICAN AIRLINES REMEMBRANCETHIS VINTAGE AMERICAN AIRLINES "WOOD DOLL" IS ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE AMERICAN AIRLINES ITEMS EVER OFFERED ON EBAY. IT IS NOT A BARBIE DOLL.The first photo shows the entire outer envelope (measuring 14.5" x 6") with the American Airlines Stewardess in the window with her official AA Uniform and AA Wings. The title reads: "American Airline STEWARDESS...A WOOD DOLL...A STAND-UP DOLL WITH AUTHENTIC UNIFORMS. No. 3946 * MADE IN U.S.A., WHITMANPUBLISHING COMPANY. In the same photo you can see the original American Airlines logo which appeared on AA baggage labels and all literature from 1935 on. Also seen is our stewardess greeting passengers as they board the AA DC-3.The second photo show two additional uniforms, one a brown dress uniform and the other the classical AA Winter over coat. Each has its own hat and matching purse. Finally, you can see the very dressy formal hat with the wide brim and feather. Each item has "fold over" tabs to hold it in place.T is also a very formal Ball Gown with fur shawl, jewelry, long gloves, a purse and a tiara to top it off.
