This listing is for a 1951 edition "THE AMERICAN ALBUM FOR UNITED STATES STAMPS". This belonged to a family member who enjoyed collecting and I will admit I know nothing about collecting stamps and hopefully someone out there will enjoy this album or is looking for a specific stamp to complete their collection. The book itself is in great condition and feels very solid. There are no loose pages, dog ears, folding, rips etc. There is a loose flyer that reads, "KNOW YOUR STAMPS PART 1 STAMPS TELL THE STORY OF WORLD WAR 2 PUBLISHED BY GLOBUS STAMP CO." It is black and white and features lots of pictures of stamps and I will include this with the album. The album itself is maybe 1/4 full and has plenty of blank pages but there are also a lot of old stamps. Most of the stamps are placed inside little plastic pockets. I looked up a few of the stamps and they appear to be worth .99 cents each but again I am sure there is a lot more involved in pricing them such as condition etc. which I know nothing about. Feel free to ask any questions if you would like me to look for a specific stamp etc. The album starts with the year 1847 and they are numbered starting with #1 so I created a list below of the stamps included with this album.
