This spectecular Willets Belleek Tankard is in a rich dark blood red that has a depth to it. The silver overlay decoration is simply gorgeous and extends into the inside of the tankard. In good condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Measures 5 3/4 inches high. The base is 3 3/4 inches in diameter and the tankard gracefuly tapers to a 3 inch rim. A TRULY SPECTACULAR PIECE. Holds 12 plus ounces of beer. The silver overlay appears to be in good condition. Sold with no reserve. Free shipping. NYS buyers must pay sales tax. No Returns, PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS. The Willets Manufacturing Company started manufacturing Belleek in 1879 with the help of the traveling Irish artisans. The company made belleek in the late 1880s and 1890s in shapes similar to those used by the Irish Belleek factory. The firm became so proficient that it was soon competing with Limoges, Dresden, and other foreign companies
