American Flag Crow Primitive country contemporary made to look distressed & aged Primitive, country,contemporary, whatever your style, this is a beautiful rendition for a crow collector. The crow, the symbol of change, is shown against a backdrop of a colonial American flag. It is painted to look distressed and aged. This is a classic subject matter for many collectors and also looks great with the American Flag Rooster by Eric N. Fausnacht. The print is individually signed by the artist, Eric N. Fausnacht, and comes in a black wooden frame. The size is 5x6" and then framed in an 8x10" black wooden frame. Now available for the first time on eBay, original artworks and signed framed prints from nationally and internationally acclaimed artist and designer Eric Fausnacht.At the beginning of his career, he hired out his talents to many Pennsylvania and New York City based businesses as a steady source of income. This included painting theater sets, sketching and sewing of costumes and, in one case, designing window displays for the department store from the movie Mannequin! Before Eric began painting full-time, he honed his skills and talents as the director of the display and visual merchandising at several very upscale, Lord and Taylor department stores. He takes inspiration from his own farm animals from his small farm in Upper Bucks County , Pennsylvania and the artworks of Kendhe Wiley, Jeff Koons, and Andy Warhol. Like most of the greats, Eric has narrowed his focus over the years and now paints predominantly farm animals. Eric prefers his original paintings on canvas in acrylic paints but has worked with many different mediums. His original paintings are usually sized at 30x36”. He has been given an uncanny gift of realism particularly with farm foul. Many of his images are so real that they appear ready to jump off the canvas and into your living room!Some of Eric's other works include painted furniture, tables, Queen Anne chairs, and pillows. His works have been featured in several professional catalogs including Country Home, Plow and Hearth, Williamsburg Marketplace, and many others. Eric has been asked to participate in many juried shows such as The Country Living Fair, The Designer Craftsmen Show, The Kutztown Folk Festival, The Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show, and The Buyer’s Choice Craft Show. His original work has been exhibited in many galleries such as Muse Gallery, Twenty-two Gallery, Citifolk, Chapman Gallery, Elysian Gallery, and many many more. Additionally in 2012, he will be having solo shows at Twenty-two Gallery in Philadelphia , and Citifolk in Lancaster , PA. His artwork has been purchased by buyers across the United States and internationally in cities such as London , Paris , Zürich and Japan . Mr. Fausnacht talent has grown so detailed and rich that he is currently in discussions with avian and foul publicists regarding producing reference material to visually guide readers and various research and guidebooks. He has an extremely busy schedule but still find time to create his beautiful originals. Eric travels the country displaying his original art and decorative handiwork.
